Where did you grow up? the greater New Orleans area, Louisiana.
Where do you live now? Helsinki, Finland

Personal info (family, kids, pets, etc.) I have a 13'yr old dog named Francis, who lives in Lousiana with my mother

How did you get started in music? I started trombone because my grammar school band director was a fine trombonist who played dixieland with Pete Fountain

When did you join the Rhode Island Philharmonic? I started with the RIPO as a frequent sub in '91 (!!!) but as a continuous member in 2001

What is your favorite RIPO memory to date? My favorite RIPO memory is Mahler 3 concert with Larry (but there are MANY MANY more)

Do you teach? If so, how can someone get in touch with you? I taught for years at URI and privately

What are your non-musical hobbies? I like cooking New Orleans dishes I learned from my Mother and Grandmother. I like to sauna and swim.

Who or what has been your greatest influence, musical or otherwise? My most influential figures were Norman Bolter and Joseph Alessi.

What is your favorite music? I like listening to all types of music

What/where do you like to eat in the Providence area? I loved eating at Napa Valley Grille (but they took it away!!!) Anyone with any suggestions as to a replacement? I'm all ears...:-)
