The RI Philharmonic Orchestra announces four Summer Pops concerts in various locations throughout Rhode Island. Resident Conductor Francisco Noya conducts the concerts, which are FREE and open to the public.

With concerns over the EEE virus, officials have decided to err on the side of caution and move the start time of the concert to 2:00 p.m., from the traditional 5:30 p.m., which will allow for the performances to conclude before dusk.

About Francisco

Francisco Noya has served as Resident Conductor of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra for 23 seasons. As Resident Conductor, Francisco conducts the Philharmonic’s annual Link Up! Education Concerts, Pops and Summer Pops concerts. Throughout the season, he serves as “cover” conductor and presents pre-concert talks for all TACO Classical Series concerts. Mr. Noya represents the Philharmonic artistically and educationally throughout the Rhode Island community.
